Educational Programs

In 2025, Endangered Ideas organized workshops at high schools - bringing original dancers from the 1970s street styles: Oakland Boogaloo, San Francisco Strutting, and Richmond Robotting. Over 250 students were reached in four cities. Through screenings, dance workshops, and live engagements, students experienced local cultural legacies firsthand.

13 original dance pioneers were hired to be instructors. Some taught in the same high schools they attended as youth.
